Attack of the Giant Penguins

A story on NPR about the discovery of fossils of a five foot penguin species in Peru (Five foot!)

did not get me thinking about science. 

It immediately made me think of Danny DeVito in Batman Returns.

I like penguins. Doesn't everyone? But no way I want to encounter 5 foot ones with really pointy, sharp beaks.
